Meeting 30

Date: 11 – April – 2019

Time: 9:10-10:05

Members Present: Larenz Coles, Brittany Shine, Allan Thomas, & Tara Maynard

Location: Hitchcock 308

Objective:

Pass the last two runs of the final performance test.

Topics Discussed: Lab 21

  • The team had to adjust the code to ensure that the AEV would not bounce back at the end of the loading dock
  • Larenz changed the code to decrease the power and bring up the brake sooner
  • The AEV slowed enough to come to a stop after the burst without hitting the end of the track
  • The team successfully passed the last two final performance tests without losing points

To Do/Action Items:

  • Prepare for the final oral presentation (All – April 18)
  • Finish the final draft of the CDR (All – April 16)

Reflections:

  • The physical brake was sufficient in decreasing the power while also effectively stopping the AEV at the gates and loading docks
  • The time on the track was decreased by stopping the AEV more efficiently
  • Time was added by the fact that the speed had to be slowed for the brake to work efficiently
