Lab 3 – Website Deliverables

The image above shows the Sample AEV prototype that is used for inital testing. This design is not efficient because it requires a substantial amount of power in order to move and the frame is bulkier than desired.

The raw data collected in the lab was converted into physical values that we could use to plot our data. The graphs shown below accurately represent the functioning of our AEV. The spikes in data on both Figure 1 and Figure 2 correspond with the time and distances where our AEV had to exert extra power to reverse.  Limiting the amount of power needed to reverse the vehicle should be addressed in future AEV designs.

Being able to collect and represent our data, as was done in both Figure 1 and Figure 2, will allow us to track how changes to our AEV affect performance. We can the use these values to maximize efficiency and optimize the model of future designs.
