Objective:
Edit the code to pass performance test 2
Topic Discussed: Extra Lab Time
- The code for performance test 1 must be edited to use the brake instead of reversing propellers since the brake had not been implemented
- Larenz used the guess and check method in order to accurately determine the stopping distance at the gate
- Tara added a L-shaped bracket to the AEV to attach to the caboose
- The team struggled to get the brake to stop without hitting the bracket
- As time began to run out, Tara suggested just using the propellers at the caboose
- The team successfully coded the AEV to lightly hit the caboose and attach
Reflections:
- The team must prepare to change the code for the final performance test in order to use the brake at the end of the track
- The reversal of propellers should work to pass performance test 2
