Final Design

The final design consists of the best version of prototypes tested in the advanced research and development labs. This consisted of two propellers, a horizontal base, and a medium voltage in order to try to increase efficiency and decrease cost. Overall, the cost was $616,995.57, which includes the energy and time and the cost of the vehicle. Although overbudget, the whole final performance test was done perfectly by completing all the tasks without facing any safety violations.

Below is a breakdown of costs for the AEV

The final design was created based on the fact that a horizontal base provided a longer distance within less time, two propellers gave more stopping and propelling power with faster response time, and then a low-medium voltage gave a better cost and energy saver. Recommendations if further research was put into this project includes looking at making the vehicle lighter so the response time would be faster with less to carry along with more powerful propellers that either has more surface area or a higher number of propellers.
