The following are meeting notes for the project. These Meeting Minutes go over everything that was discussed and everything that still needs to be completed during each time the group met.
Discussed the basic coding of the Arduino to ensure that the motors were working properly. Initial website was created and pages were set up.
Discussed how to complete website update 1 and team meeting minutes page was created.
Discussed what qualities and expectations we have for our group work and our AEV project, and completed a team working agreement to follow by for the semester.
Discussed how to use the data extraction tool and how we plan on testing the AEV on the track. Also, discussed plans to make graphs to best represent the data collected.
Discussed possible designs for the AEV and measured the vehicle parts in order to make a proper orthographic sketch.
Considered constraints for the AEV vehicle and decided on a final AEV prototype design.
Discussed how to effectively represent our data in Progress Report 1 and brainstormed all of our options for an additional part for the Grant Proposal.
Discussed our chosen part for the Grant Proposal and practiced the pitch for the grant proposal. Also, Progress Report 1 was finished and trimmed in order to keep the report brief.
Discussed how to make our website more visually appealing. Information was added to the landing pages on the website, a glossary was created, and a works cited was created.
Looked over research and analyzed it. Based on those results, revamped the next steps for research and looked at how the vehicle design could be improved.
This meeting looked over coding for the final performance test and what methods should be used for braking.
Covering progress report 3 and website update 3, and ideas for performance test 3.
More ideas were presented for the third research topic, with keeping costs in mind.
The Final Design was discussed and aspects with it.
The research from testing the 3rd advanced research and development topic.
Final deliverables were discussed.
