Lab Four focused on the creative design process involved in improving the features of the sample AEV to create a more efficient, durable, and cost effective design. Each team member was asked to illustrate three orthographic views of an improved AEV in preparation for Lab Four. These designs were then shared with the team and discussed to identify the advantages and disadvantages to each design.
Through the discussion, it was discovered that the team wanted to focus on creating better aerodynamics, decreasing AEV mass, and limiting power needed to start and stop the vehicle.
