Dear Exhibitor,
This year it has been decided that only the Grand & Reserve Champion animals will enter the sale ring with their exhibitor. All other exhibitors will enter the sale ring without their animals. To ensure that each exhibitor is able to adequately represent their project, we will be putting together a slideshow to project throughout the auction. Each exhibitor will need to complete the google form that was emailed to their 4-H registered email no later than August 10th, at 8:00pm (link below). If the exhibitor is planning to auction more than one animal, they will need to send a picture with each project (e.x. if you are taking both a market steer and market turkey, please take a picture with both projects separately). If the exhibitor fails to send the picture by August 10th, at 8:00pm, their name will appear with no image during the sale. Below are examples of appropriate images. Please contact Emma George with any questions or concerns.

Our team at Kent State University is now recruiting adolescents (ages 13-18) for an online research program that focuses on helping teens to reduce stress, improve health, and achieve a healthy weight. This free program includes 16 live, interactive, online group sessions and teaches teens ways to improve their health through a focus on healthy eating, physical activity, and may include strategies to reduce stress. All sessions will take place over secure videoconferencing software. This study also includes three online assessment periods. There is no cost for participation, and eligible adolescents will receive up to $175 as compensation for participating in this study.
If you are interested in participating or would like more information about our Healthy Eating, Activity, and Reduction of Teen Stress Program (HEARTS), please have a parent/caregiver call us at (330) 672-2231 or email us at teenprojecthearts@gmail.com. A member of our research team will provide more information about our project, complete a phone screening with the parent/caregiver to determine if the interested teen is initially eligible to participate, and will answer any questions. We sincerely hope that you will consider participating!
