USDA Announces Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP)
On April 17, the preliminary details about the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) were released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) program aimed to assist farmers, ranchers, and consumers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CFAP provides $19 billion in funds authorized through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES). Those who have participated in an Annie’s Project understand the camaraderie and friendships that are developed during the course. The planting intentions reported by US producers during the first of March coupled with current demand prospects make a corn supply near 18 billion bushels likely during the 2020/21 marketing year. A “primary” education: Ohio Supreme Court rules on wedding barn dispute
Who knew wedding barns could lead us to the Ohio Supreme Court? Such is the case for a longstanding controversy over a wedding barn in Medina County. Litchfield Township opposed the use of the barn for weddings. In a unanimous decision, the court ruled that the weddings could go on.
