The JFB plans and conducts the Junior Fair activities of the Greene County Fair. The members serve as Junior Fair Superintendents and assist the Jr. Fair Division Superintendents
The purpose of the Junior Fair Board is to assist in the administration of the Junior Fair, other youth oriented fair programs, and other community service projects. They work with the members of the Greene County Agriculture Society in operating certain areas of the fair. They strive to develop the leadership skills of its members so that they will become the leaders of tomorrow. The Junior Fair Board consists of up to 40 members plus the Junior Fair Board Officers. Members must be older than 13 years of age and younger than 19 years of age, as of January 1st of the current year. Members must be a current member of a youth-serving organization in association with the Greene County Fair. The Junior Fair Board meets at least monthly.
