The Clermont County 4-H Advisory Committee has two vacant seats and is currently accepting nomination to fill those positions. This is for a one-year term on the committee. Members of the 4-H Committee assist in determining the priorities and direction of the local 4-H program, are responsible for planning and conducting 4-H events, assisting with fundraisers and promoting the 4-H program. You can nominate yourself or someone you know to serve on the committee, by completing the nomination form before Sunday, March 14. Members must be approved 4-H volunteers.

Clermont County 4-H Volunteer Becky Jones of Country Kids was featured in a recent article published by Farm World. The article shares how her family turned their passion for goats from a project, to a hobby to a thriving family business. Becky, along with her sister, Martha and their mom, Patty, share their love of goats, inspiring generations of 4-Hers learn and grow, to make their best efforts better.

Volunteer with 4-H Today!
No matter how much time you have, volunteering with 4-H makes a difference by helping youth explore and discover the skills they need to lead for a lifetime. While there are many ways in which volunteers can share their time and talents, the most common in Clermont County is volunteering with a community club. Individuals wanting to serve in the capacity of a club volunteer must complete the following:
- It is important to determine what the club needs and how they can best utilize your talents

- Please have the emails, phone numbers, and addresses of three references before starting your application. Reference forms will be emailed automatically upon completion of the application.
- The standards of behavior is included in the electronic application
- Background check results must be on file prior to an individual working with 4-H members. A BCI is required for individuals who have lived in Ohio for five consecutive years. A BCI and FBI background check are required for individuals who have lived outside of Ohio within the past five years.
