Purchase a TSC Paper Clover to Support Clermont County 4-H

The Tractor Supply Paper Clover campaign runs from October 7-18. Customers can purchase a paper clover at checkout from the Eastgate or Milford TSC, and 90% of funds come back to Clermont County 4-H to support scholarships for camp and leadership programs.

Calling All Stay-at-Home Campers!

Campish Flyer Ohio 4-H staff miss summer camp as much as you do, and we want to do what we can to bring elements of camp to your home! On June 9-11, you are invited to join us for Ohio 4-H Camp…ish! It is open to any youth ages 8-18 across the state of Ohio. Friends who are not in 4-H are welcome to register, too! There is no cost for attending, although some activities will require the use of basic art supplies, household items, or things found outdoors. Please visit go.osu.edu/campish to register by June 7! Activities will be hosted at the following times each day: 9-11 AM, 1-3 PM, 4-5 PM. Campers are not required to attend all sessions, so sign up and come for the times you can enjoy Camp…ish activities brought to you by Ohio 4-H Camp…ish Directors!

It is with great excitement that we invite youth ages 8 (an in 3rd grade) to 14  to join us for the 2019 Clermont / Hamilton County 4-H Camp!  This year’s theme is “rodeo,” and will be held June 7-11 at 4-H Camp Graham, located in Clarksville, Ohio.  Counselors have been working hard for several months to plan a fun-filled week that campers are sure to love!

Both 4-H members and non 4-H members are invited to attend.  The cost is $260 for 4-H members and $285 for non 4-H members.  Camp is a great opportunity for youth to enjoy the great outdoors, learn responsibility and decision making as well as create memories and  friendships that will last a lifetime.  So, grab your friends and join us around the campfire!

Camps at OSU

Two overnight camps are happening this summer at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center.

4-H Camp Tech is from June 5-7 for youth entering grades 6, 7 and 8. You’ll explore all things tech-y from programming with Google to virtual reality to robotics and more! Details at http://go.osu.edu/CampTech.

Learn about life in another culture and learn about making a difference at 4-H Global AgriCULTURE Camp, from June 10-14. Youth entering grades 8, 9 and 10 will spend three days at OSU discovering how agriculture can impact global food issues, then travel to Howell, Michigan for an experience at the Heifer Global Village. A Camp Like No Other

The ExploreAg program is a week-long experience where high school students interact with and learn from internationally known teachers, scientists, and researchers. Students are hosted on campus at the Ohio State University and Central State University and are introduced to various aspects of agriculture both in the classroom and through diverse hands-on learning experiences, both on and off campus.  For More Information

Tractor Supply Co. (TSC) is generous in their support of 4-H programs across the country. We would like to invite your 4-H Club to participate in the upcoming TSC Paper Clover Campaign Saturday, October 13, at TSC Eastgate. When clubs are present in-store during the event, donations increase by more than 40%.

In addition to helping raise more money for our county programs, we hope to create awareness for Clermont County 4-H.
We will be holding a Facebook Photo Contest October 8-12, in celebration of National 4-H Week. Share a different photo(s) each day of the week with #Clermont4H for a chance to win fabulous prizes.

A winner will be chosen each day and winning photos will be on display at TSC Saturday, October 13, for customers to vote on the top, grand prize winner!

Your club/members can get involved by submitting photos, greeting customers to sell Paper Clovers, help bag customers’ purchases, display your animals, or even demonstrate projects.
