Guidelines and Application for the Jerry Krebs Honorary Scholarship

In an effort to honor the volunteerism of Jerry Krebs and to recognize the youth of Clermont County, the Clermont County 4-H Advisory Committee has put forth the Jerry Krebs Honorary Scholarship.  The purpose of this scholarship is to financially assist high school seniors, and/or first year graduates who are continuing their education at an accredited institution in any field. This scholarship is open to Clermont County, Ohio 4-H members. This is a nonrenewable scholarship awarded in the amount of $500.

Youth in Action $5,000 Scholarship Opportunity

4-H’ers with a great story to tell and a passion for Agriculture, Civic Engagement, Healthy Living, or STEM can apply to win a $5,0000 scholarship through the 2020 4-H Youth in Action Awards!

Through this program, four confident leaders in our core pillar areas of Agriculture, Civic Engagement, Healthy Living and STEM will receive a $5,000 scholarship for higher education, along with an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C. for National 4-H Council’s Legacy Awards and the opportunity to serve as the official spokesperson for their pillar area.

CEIL BEE SCHOLARSHIP

Ceil Bee retired in 2006 after being one of the Fair’s strongest supporters and chair of many committees and projects over the years.  This scholarship in her honor is a tribute to her dedicated commitment and service to the Bakery & Pantry Department.

OHIO STATE FAIR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, APRIL 15!

If you exhibit at the Ohio State Fair and meet the scholarship eligibility requirements, don’t miss out on this scholarship opportunity!

In an effort to recognize outstanding Ohio youth and to help those interested in furthering their education, the Ohio Expositions Commission has established a scholarship program. The purpose of these scholarships is to assist high school juniors and seniors (2018-2019) and graduates who are continuing their education at an accredited institution in an undergraduate course of study in any field.

Available scholarships include seven Endowment Fund scholarships; (3) Jr. Fair Beef Cattle, (3) Jr. Fair Swine, and (3) Jr. Fair Sheep Exhibitor scholarships, (2) Jr. Fair Poultry, (2) Jr. Fair Dairy Cattle Exhibitor and (2) Jr. Fair Horse Exhibitor scholarships; (1) Jr. Fair Dairy Goat, (1) Jr. Fair Boer Goat, (1) Jr. Fair Rabbit, and (1) Jr. Fair Dog Exhibitor scholarship; and (3) Jr. Fair Exhibits & Activities scholarships. All of the scholarships offered are $1,000 each, except for the Governor James A. Rhodes Junior Fair Endowment Fund Scholarship which is $1,500.

Scholarships will be awarded to junior exhibitors during the Ohio State Fair. Applicants will be judged on scholastic standing, citizenship and leadership, Ohio State Fair participation, county fair participation, and financial need. Completed applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2019.

Sue Adams / Clermont County Horse Committee Scholarship

Attention Horse Exhibitors:  Apply for the 2017 Sue Adams / Clermont County Horse Committee Scholarship.  Applications are due November 2, 2017, to the Extension Office.  This scholarship is for higher education and applicants (17-19 years old) must have been in a Clermont County Jr Fair Horse Program and taken a horse project for four years prior to 2017.  For more details: Sue Adams / Clermont County Horse Committee Scholarship Application
