On March 23rd the Wonders of the World 4H club had their monthly meeting. They had an exciting visit from the Cincinnati Herpetology Club. Representatives Peggy and Bruce Fille told the stories of the lizards, tortoises, and snakes they had brought and everyone enjoyed touching the animals, which included a Blue-Tongued Skink, a Brazilian Rainbow Boa, a Gray-Banded Kingsnake, and many others.
After the meeting, WOW member Victoria Angelo presented her project demos for First Aid in Action & Bicycling for Fun. Victoria showed everyone how to properly bandage a wound and how to correctly fit a helmet. She also made a poster game in which the club dressed the biker in appropriate clothing & gave a Heimlich Maneuver demonstration.
