Gold Medal Awards are used to recognize members who have shown outstanding effort, personal growth, an increase of knowledge and skill and outstanding achievement in their category!
Any 4-H Advisor or Jr. Fair Committee Member may initiate the nomination for a Gold Medal Award. It is preferred that the candidate is not related to the nominator.
All nominated projects must have been completed based on specific project requirements, example: Grade Day, Skill-a-thon and Judging. All Life Skills Project Nominations MUST have been evaluated at the County Grade Day in order to be eligible for the Gold Medal Award.
