This workshop serves as an introductory workshop on developing a diversity statement. It is becoming common for universities and colleges to require such a statement from faculty job applicants. The purpose of this document is to verify that an applicant has a commitment to diversity in his or her work within higher education. In this session, we will will introduce several approaches to developing and writing a diversity statement. Strategies and examples will be discussed.
This webinar will be presented by Dr. Marcela Hernandez, the Administrative Director of The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs.
