I am part of a session ‘Bridging the gap: Developing accessible STEM programs and building partnerships to support bilingual children & families’ at the annual conference of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC 2021). I am joined by Hardin Englehardt (Marbles Kids Museum) and Grace Sanchez (GrowingGreat). We discuss developing bilingual, accessible, culturally-relevant activities and building community partnerships to reach families. She will talk about the IRB application process and share some helpful tips followed by a Q/A session. FLRT panel on career paths post-graduation
FLRT has organized a panel ‘Exploring Career Paths Post-graduation’. This event will provide FLRT members with the chance to hear from three newly graduated Ohio State alumni who have successfully found a job related to language research and teaching post-graduation. The alumni will virtually share their job search process and will also participate in a live Q&A session. Friday, 16 October 2020, 9-10 am (EST). Please see the attached flyer
