2019 4-H Award & Trip Winners

Congratulations to our Greene County 4-H Trip Winners!

The 2019 State 4-H Achievement Award winners have been announced.  Greene County is thrilled to announce that Ashley Howard has been chosen as a state winner in Family Life and Child Development.  She will be attending the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta this year.

In addition, Tayla Green was selected to attend Leadership Washington Focus in July.

This is a great honor for both Ashley and Tayla.

Both Ashley and Tayla completed an Ohio 4-H Achievement Record to be selected.

Be on the lookout this fall for a workshop here at the Extension Office on putting together an Achievement Record.  All teens will be encouraged to attend!

Congratulations to 4-H Trip Winners!

We had several 4-H youth complete Ohio 4-H Achievement Records.  We have a state winner and several county winners!

Ashley Howard, 4-H member from Creek Clovers 4-H Club, was selected as a delegate to represent Ohio at the National Dairy Conference in Wisconsin.  She was also selected as an alternate for the horses achievement record.  The State 4-H Achievement Awards are a competitive process and require filling out the Ohio 4-H Achievement Record.

We had several county award winners as well.  Emily Burns, 4-H member from The Greene Team 4-H Club, and Samantha Thomas, 4-H member from Country Rebels 4-H Club, both completed the award form and will represent Greene County at Leadership Washington Focus in July.

Congratulations to all!  We are so excited for you and thrilled you are representing Greene County and Ohio 4-H!
