The Guns N’ Clovers will kick off the 2018 year with our first meeting on Thursday, January 11th. Reminder the first meeting we will go over safety and watch a movie. All members are required to bring their own eye and ear protection. The indoor range prefers muffs as ear protection. Again this year they are requiring ear buds, the club will furnish these for the members. If a member would like to use their own firearm, it has to be inspected by one of the Greene County Shooting Instructors.
DUES: They will be $45.00 per member this year. This fee includes county dues, ear buds, project book (1), ammo fees, range fees, and poster board. If a member takes a second project there is additional cost of $6.41 for the second book.
On Thursday we will have two start times, due to the small education room and the amount of members we have. The first start time is at 5:30 PM, the second start time will be 6:00 PM, plan on it taking around an hour for the movie and more paperwork. Your member will work with one of our instructors and then they will be released to leave. Parents are not allowed on the shooting range. But we do welcome you to watch your child from one of the windows.
New this year we are asking families to enroll online. You will need to go to oh.4honline.com to enroll. If you are a returning family use your family email to enroll and click on forgot password. We have videos on our web-site that can help guide you through the process. They are found here https://greene.osu.edu/program-areas/4-h-youth-development/4-h-online
We ask that all of our members attend 6 shoot meetings and 2 business meetings. Greene County 4-H policy is that each member has to attend 8 meetings in order to be in good standing. They need to attend 8 meetings in order to attend pre-fair judging and display their project at the Greene County Fair.
