2020 Camp Counselor Applications
NEW THIS YEAR! Applications will be filled out online. Under, 4-H Youth Development, Camp and look for the link to click on.
Applications need to be completed by Friday, October 25, 2019.
Three reference names will be submitted with their email addresses. Please note: Applicants must turn in a complete application, with references by the deadline, in order to participate in the skills stations on November 17.
Camp Counselor evaluation skills stations will be held on Sunday, November 17. Applicants will begin their skill stations at 5:00 p.m. and finish at 7:00 p.m. The Greene County Camp Program Manager and Staff will make the final selection of who will serve as Camp Counselor during the 2020 Greene County 4-H Overnight Camp (June 12-June 16) and Cloverbud Camp (June 15). (There are no make-up dates.) Mandatory Parents Meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 6:30 PM at the Extension Office.
The 4-H Greene County Food and Fashion Board is offering a Learn to Sew Workshop Series. These workshops will take place once a month staring in September and running through December.
Each class will be a quick and easy sewing project There is a cost of $5.00 per workshop, per participant. All workshops will start at 5:30 PM. Registration is required. No walk-ins.
We will be providing some or all of the supplies for you. When all supplies are not provided, you will go home with some sewing tools for you to keep and help build your sewing box.

All supplies will be provided.
• Thursday, November 14 – Easy Wallet Some supplies will be provided by the participant
• Monday, December 9 – Stuffed Snowman All supplies will be provided
All workshops will be held at the Greene County Extension office in the Buckeye Room.

Smart Start: Teaching Children about Money is an educational curriculum designed to teach children ages 3-5 the basic concepts of money. Designed to be delivered in either educational and/or childcare settings, it explores such questions as “What is Money?” and “What do we do with it?” Smart Start is comprised of 4 lessons which provide a foundation of financial concepts and vocabulary for children to build on as they grow
