4-H Virtual Demonstration Contest

We are having a virtual demonstration contest.

Post a video of a Greene County 4-H project member giving a 3-5 minute project demonstration in the comments of this post on Facebook.  It needs to be posted by this Monday, May 11 at noon.  Demonstrations can be on any topic, but if you choose a topic related to your project, it can count as one of your learning experiences.

The member should state what division they are in and their club name as part of their submission.

Voting will be done by popular vote by division with ages as of Jan. 1, 2020.

Junior Division- ages 8-13

Senior Division- ages 14-18

 

Top demonstration of each age division will win a prize when we return to the office.

Videos need posted by May 11 and voting will take place from May 11 at noon through Wednesday, May 13 at 4:30.  The videos with the most likes on Wednesday, May 13 at 4:30 p.m. will win.

4-H Demonstrations Event

Have you thought about participating in our county demonstrations event?  How about use the same demonstration you gave in your club?  Or use it as a practice about what you learned in your project in preparation for prefair judging.

Public speaking is such an important skill and this is a great way to practice and gain additional experience.  Youth will also be selected to represent Greene County at the Ohio State Fair.

There are categories for individuals, teams, and for Cloverbuds for reciting the 4-H pledge.
