Pre-fair Judging & Fair Entry Reminders

  1.  Pre-fair Judging:
    1. As previously mentioned, pre-fair judging will be held on June 30 and July 1. Youth must sign-up/register for the time slot based on the judge. All information is on our website at https://greene.osu.edu/program-areas/4-h-youth-development/project-judging-and-skillthons The deadline to sign up is Sunday, June 27.
      1. June 30 projects: Horseless horse, dogs, cat, vet science, pet rabbit, rockets, science fun, robotics, electricity, knots, small engines, tractor, welding, natural resources, shooting sports, basic archery
      2. July 1 projects: health projects, self-determined, leadership, food and nutrition, clothing, cake decorating, home living, scrapbooking, quilting, photography, art, fishing, woodworking
  2. All livestock & animal Fair Entries
    1. This must be completed for all animals and classes you are wanting to bring to fair.

    3. Youth should sign up for showmanship but must also sign up for their classes with their animals.  We can’t approve just showmanship.
    4. Youth should visit the link above on how to register.  You will log in to HTTP://GreeneOhio.fairentry.com to complete all entries.
    5. After submitting entries, please check your email for acceptance or rejection of each entry.  Rejected entries need to be fixed and resubmitted by the deadline of July 1.
  3. Skillathons
    1. Livestock skillathons will take place on July 20 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and on July 21 from 3:00-6:00 p.m.
    2. Youth will be completing these using iPad.  Youth should bring their books as that will be a part of the skillathon score too.
  4. Drug Use Notification Form (DUNF)
    1. These forms will need to be completed by Friday, July 30 at noon.  This information will be in the July Greene Clover Newsletter.
