Dicamba Restrictions

If you apply Xtendimax, FeXapan or Engenia in Ohio, you must:

• Take the dicamba-specific training (see dates below)
• Be a licensed applicator or work under the direct supervision of a licensed applicator
• Comply with all aspects of new labeling
• Maintain specific records
• Apply only when wind speeds are below 10 mph, but above 3 mph
• Apply between sunrise and sunset, never during a temperature inversion
• Survey surrounding area for sensitive crops and apply buffers accordingly
• Use only approved nozzles (See List Here)

If you are applying or plan to apply any type of dicamba product, you will need to attend one of these training’s below. Each state has there own requirements, therefore if you farm in multiple states please check their criteria. Example: Ohio may attend an Indiana program but Indiana may not attend an Ohio program.

*ANY dicamba-specific training will meet the training requirement to apply Xtendimax, Engenia, or FeXapan, regardless of which company (BASF, Monsanto, Dupont) sponsored the meeting.
