Clermont County Junior Fair Hog, Goat, and Sheep Tag-In

All Clermont County Junior Fair market hogs, market goats, meat breeding does, market sheep, and breeding ewes will need to attend tag-in this Saturday, May 7, from 8-11:00am at the Clermont County Fairgrounds. There will be an optional weigh-in for rate of gain. Pygmy, pack, and dairy goats will not come to the fairgrounds for tag-in but will need to complete an online registration, which will be available at a later date.

Hog trailers need to enter the gate on 132 and form a line. There will be people directing traffic at the gate. Every hog will be getting the swine flu vaccine administered by Dr. Patchell’s staff. The cost per hog is $2.00. Please bring exact change. New this year, all hog exhibitors are required to have a premise ID. Please bring your premise ID with you to tag-in. We will be collecting those numbers.

Goats and sheep are to be walked to the beef barn scale area. If you have a trailer with goats/sheep and hogs, please enter the hog line and walk your goats and sheep to the beef barn. If your trailer only has goats and sheep, please enter the Locust Street entrance and park your trailers and walk your animals to the beef barn.

All non-market animals, poultry, and rabbit registrations will be due May 21st. Please be patient as Junior Fair is switching to a new software system.  More information regarding online registration will be shared as soon as it becomes available.
