“Do it Your Way” Quality Assurance

Clermont County is offering several options for you to “Do it Your Way” for 2021 Youth Quality Assurance. Clermont QA must be completed by June 1, each year for the county and state fair exhibition.

Exhibitors who are taking food grade animals in the categories of market beef, market hog, market lamb, market poultry (chicken, turkey, duck), market goats (meat or dairy), market rabbits, lactating dairy cattle, and all types of dairy goats, lactating or not.

***New for Clermont 2021, Dairy Breed Goats of all ages are required to complete QA. Dairy wethers in the market show have not changed QA requirements, it is required. Wethers showed in pack, harness, or companion, that is not in the market shows, are exempt.

Test Out Option (ages 12-14 or 15-18)

  • April 24, 10am–1pm in the 4-H Hall Kitchen

    • COVID 19 Restrictions will be in place. Masks must be worn at all times.
    • Proctor has the right to ask you to come back if the room has reached capacity.

In-person Training

  • April 24, Session 1: 10am-11am (priority to spring camp out attendees) Session 2: 1pm-2pm
    • LIMITED SEATING. No walk-ins. No extra people allowed to stay.

    • COVID 19 Restrictions will be in place. Masks must be worn at all times.

County Virtual Training (Poultry Clinic)

Ag Ed/FFA Training

  • Check with your teacher for dates training will be offered. The teacher will submit a list of names to the Extension Office.
  • Yes, you are permitted to complete QA in an alternate county school if the teacher is properly certified. The teacher will need to submit names to Clermont County Extension Office.
