OSU Extension Family Consumer Sciences and SNAP-Ed partnered with Inter-parish Ministry to provide food safety, food preparation and food finance to Clermont County residents. Pictured are the “Do You Have Food $ense?” graduates for 2016. Graduates attended a once a month day training from June – November at Emanuel United Methodist Church. Margaret Jenkins, OSU Extension FCS Educator, Mona Glover and Danielle Combs, SNAP-Ed Program Assistants taught, demonstrated and provided additional resources to program participants.
During the summer growing season, vegetables were provided to the participants from the OSU Extension Local Foods garden. Participants also created their own cookbook to share and record their memories.
