How will this impact livestock production?
Programs being offered in the southern part of the state to help producers understand how this new directive from the Food and Drug Administration will impact their livestock production, effective on January 1, 2017, for feeding medicated feeds, minerals, etc. Representatives from feed companies, OSU Extension, national commodity boards and local veterinarians will be available to answer questions. These rules will apply to all livestock producers, including youth. All 4-H and FFA families are encouraged to attend.
