Tobacco GAP Training Opportunities

Tobacco-Farm

GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) is required of all tobacco producers who plan to market tobacco through a contract with a tobacco company, to the best of my knowledge. If you plan to raise a crop in 2016 you will need this training.

The remaining dates are March 7 at the Southern Hills Career Center Board Office in Georgetown, OH at 2:00 p.m.; at North Adams High School in Seaman, OH at 6:30 p.m. and then on March 8 at Southern Hills Career Center Board Office in Georgetown, OH at 10:00 a.m. There is no charge for this training, but space is limited. To reserve a seat you need to call Barbie at the Adams Co. Extension Office to register at 937-544-2339.

For further questions about GAP information, contact Dave Dugan at 937-544-2339.
