New 4-H Volunteers
If you have been thinking about becoming a 4-H volunteer, talk with your club’s head advisor to determine how you can assist your club or contact Kelly Royalty at royalty.9@osu.edu for other volunteer opportunities.
New volunteers are required to (1) complete an application; (2) agree to and sign the volunteer standards of behavior form; (3) have references collected by Extension professionals; (4) submit a criminal history background check; (5) complete an interview; ; and (6) participate in an orientation/training program. New Volunteer applications are due to OSU Extension by February 1. 4-H Volunteer screenings must be completed, no later than February 28 in order to be a 4-H advisor for the 2018 program year.
