Ohio land-use planning conference is Jan. 11

CFAES’s outreach arm, OSU Extension, is co-sponsoring a statewide land-use planning conference on Jan. 11. It’s called Linking Land Use and the Economy: Our Land, Our Water, Our Future (subtitle: “A Conference Exploring Tools and Trends”) and is for local government officials, planning and economic development professionals, and the development community. ‘Earthwise’? Watch it if you missed it

A screencast of Cal DeWitt’s (University of Wisconsin; author of Earth-wise) talk this past Friday, “Challenges of Earth Stewardship,” is now available (computer slides, audio, 21:46). He and northern Ohio Amish farmer/author David Kline (Great Possessions) spoke as part of the Environmental Sciences Graduate Program’s winter seminar series, and both spoke further in Wooster, Columbus, or both on a busy short visit by DeWitt to Ohio.
