Two Ohio State programs recently cracked the top eight nationally in their fields. The men’s basketball team reached the NCAA tournament’s Elite Eight before losing a close game to Wichita State. (Fun albeit extraneous fact: Both teams’ nicknames have plant-related roots.) And a joint entry submitted by the School of Environment and Natural Resources and the Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics, which are both in CFAES, made the Environmental Eight in Enviance’s Second Annual Environmental March Madness Tournament. The contest ranks the environmental and campus sustainability programs of U.S. colleges and universities. (Photo: University Communications.)
