Presentation Title: Quantile Regression: Detecting the Relations You Might be Missing*

*Attendees should have an understanding of basic linear regression

Linear regression estimates the relationship between predictor (e.g., intervention condition, context/environment) and outcome variables (e.g., reading scores, BMI, motivation). What if you expect that this relationship might be different for different levels of the outcome? Quantile regression provides estimates of the relationship between predictor(s) and outcome for groups based on the level of the outcome variable.
