Preparing Mainstream Classroom Teachers For English Language Learners

 

Abstract

 

English Language Learners (ELLs) represent a growing proportion of K-12 students, but are often underserved in mainstream classrooms. This research study employs a qualitative methodology seeking to understand the perspectives and attitudes of mainstream classroom teachers of language minority students. Teachers interviewed for this study.
