Timing of the Transition to college: The Role of Parental Support and Future Expectations

 

Abstract

 

Using a national longitudinal household panel survey (PSID), this study explores how parental social support and future expectations connect the link between family income and the timing of college enrollment. To test our research questions, we will specifically conduct a structural equation model analysis with latent variables using Mplus.
