The directors of three Ohio state agencies working to address nutrient runoff and water quality, including issues such as Lake Erie’s harmful algal blooms, will discuss their policies and programs on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Ohio State.
Heads of ODA, ODNR, and Ohio EPA
Ohio Department of Agriculture Director Dorothy Pelanda, Ohio Department of Natural Resources Director Mary Mertz, and Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Director Laurie A. Stevenson will speak at the October breakfast program of CFAES’ Environmental Professionals Network. Cathann A. Kress, Ohio State vice president for agricultural administration and CFAES dean, will moderate the discussion.
The event runs from 7:15–9:30 a.m. in Ohio State’s Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Drive in Columbus. Registration is $10, or free for Ohio State students, and includes breakfast.
