Interested in leasing your land for solar? A program called Solar Leasing 101, offered in London and Xenia on Monday, July 15, will shed light on what to consider.
2 experts, 2 locations
Featuring CFAES experts Peggy Kirk Hall (agricultural and resource law) and Eric Romich (energy development), the program will give details on solar development trends, converting farmland to solar production, and considerations before signing a solar farm lease agreement.
In London, the program runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Red Brick Tavern, 1700 Cumberland Road (Route 40); in Xenia, from 2–5 p.m. at the Greene County office of OSU Extension, 100 Fairground Road. OSU Extension is CFAES’ outreach arm.
