Early bird registration for the 2019 Ohio Hop Conference, set for Jan. 9-10 in Columbus, ends today, Tuesday, Dec. 18. The early bird discount saves you $25 off the full conference registration. The theme of the conference is “From Bines to Steins.”
Developing sustainable hop production
A website on hops research by CFAES’s OSU South Centers says the college is “committed to developing a well-respected hop research program focused on both production and marketing. “ The program is allowing CFAES scientists to “develop sustainable production practices directly related to Ohio growing conditions.”
“Locally grown hops could support a diversity of producers, with significant profit to be made on small acreage,” the website notes.
