Local foods benefit local farms, economies and environments, and you can learn how to use them locally — in a skillet, say, right in your kitchen — at the Wooster Scarlet, Gray and Green Fair. The Earth Day, April 22, event features a 1:30 p.m. local food cooking demonstration by Jeannine Snyder, operations manager of Café Carmen at CFAES’s Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, and Peter Wallin, executive chef for campus dining services at the College of Wooster. Details on the fair here and here.
