Respiratory therapists are licensed healthcare professionals who assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing difficulties. These issues may stem from cardiopulmonary disorders like heart failure or pulmonary hypertension, chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, or cystic fibrosis, and emergencies like heart attacks or drowning. Graduates of our program are equipped to care for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and work in diverse environments, including intensive care units, emergency departments, diagnostic labs, clinics, and even in patients’ homes.
