Tour to spotlight green careers

The July breakfast program by the Environmental Professionals Network (EPN), which this time also includes lunch, is a field trip and networking event designed to introduce Ohio high school teachers—and down the road, their students—to careers in environmental and agricultural sciences.

See 3 green places in Granville

Attend the event and you’ll tour Granville High School’s sustainable garden, Denison University’s solar array and pollinator site, and the Granville Land Lab, a 90-acre outdoor education facility. You’ll also get to network with other educators and professionals.

The event, called Environmental Careers, Curriculum, and Collaborations, is set for 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. The deadline to register is Sunday, July 7. Continuing education credits are available. Find out more.

EPN, a service of CFAES’ School of Environment and Natural Resources, is a statewide professional group for those studying and working in environmental fields. Joining is free.

In addition to EPN, co-hosts of the July 9 event are the Environmental Education Council of Ohio, Denison University, and the Granville Exempted Village School District.
