2024 Call for Abstracts

The OSU College of Medicine is now accepting abstracts for the 2024 Annual Education Symposium. We want to hear about your innovative educational research and teaching strategies for preparing tomorrow’s health professionals.

Requirements

Proposals should be relevant to health professions education; however, proposals that address one of the key topics below will be prioritized. Abstracts must be 250 words or less.

Submissions must include the following information:  

  • Title of Submission
  • Background/Significance of the Problem
  • Purpose
  • Process/Methodology
  • Findings/Results
  • Conclusions: Outcomes and Future Directions

Key Topics

  • Benefits and potential risks of using Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and other emerging technology to improve health professions education and clinical practice.
  • Exploring the ethical, sociocultural, pedagogical, and legal considerations of using A.I. and other emerging technology in the educational and clinical setting.
  • Ideas and strategies for incorporating A.I. as a tool and as content in health professions education.

How to Submit

Please fill out the 2024 AES Abstract Submission Form by 11:59 pm on Friday, September 29th, 2023. You will be asked to attach your abstract as a Word document at the end of the form. Acceptance announcements will be sent mid to late October.
