The three departments in the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE) offer an array of qualitative and mixed-methods courses taught by world-renowned and knowledgeable faculty to support students in strengthening their research skills. The offering of these courses reflects the feedback collected through the EHE Qualitative Curriculum Survey in 2020.
View this document for the most recent list of qualitative courses, including what courses you can count on each semester/year. It includes some courses beyond the EHE, but EHE students are encouraged to take qualitative courses within their home departments unless discussed with advisors. Please note, this is not a comprehensive list, as there are changes regularly. For the most up-to-date information, please see BuckeyeLink with the latest Course Catalogue.
*Graduate students at one of the 14 Big Ten Universities or the University of Chicago can enroll in EHE’s qualitative courses through the Big Ten Academic Alliance Couseshare Program. Please contact the program for more details regarding the course enrollment.
