Biked by the center Friday (8/11/23) and noticed large plants with yellow flower heads similar to goldenrod and leaves similar to false indigo. These flowers were along the path and west of the building that looked like it had multiple fish tanks. Could you tell me what those plants are? Thanks,

Hi, these likely were goldenrod! It loves to grow to the west of the path, across from our mesocosm area. We also have a beautiful, yellow, native flower called Wild Senna growing in our prairie. Unfortunately it has taken over! We are hoping to do more restoration on the prairie this coming year. Thanks for connecting! -Krystal
