In 2022, the topic of Beyond the Classroom Math Summer Camp was Math in Music. We offered the camp in in-person and virtual formats, both free of cost. Check out the gallery for some snapshots of the event!
The 2022 Beyond the Classroom summer camp was partially funded by the MAA Dolciani Mathematics Enrichment Grant and the AMS Epsilon Fund.
In this camp, students explored some music theory and its connections with mathematics. Some of the topics covered in the camp were:
