Special Interest Project Judging
Special Interest, Clothing, and Nutrition project judging took place July 6 from 12-5pm. Special thanks to our judges who volunteered their time to interview our 4-Hers and their wonderful projects! Participants have the chance to be awarded an honorable mention, outstanding, and even state fair delegation for their project!
Barn Decorating Contest
Each 4-H Club or FFA Chapter had the chance to decorate an area in each barn. Decorations were judged on Sunday of the Fair and 1 winner was picked in each barn. Winners received a $25 check from Senior Fair Board and a banner to display all week. Winners were annouced at the Special Interest Awards Tuesday night.
Hay Bale Decorating Contest
Organizations had the chance to compete in the hay bale decorating contest. 4 clubs participated this year!
Royalty and Talent Show
Our Jr. Fair Royalty was crowned July 7th. During the judge’s final deliberation, we had 4 excellent talent show participants showcase their singing talents.
Livestock Shows
Cake Decorating and Creative Baking Contest
The Creative Baking Contest and Auction took place on Tuesday of the fair. Participants made a baked good and were judged based on taste and quality. Winners were auctioned off to raise money for the Jr. Fair.
The Cake Decorating Contest took place on Wednesday of fair with 4 different age categories. Participants were provided icing and a cake form and were timed to create their masterpiece.

On Friday of the fair, exhibitors competed in a series of competitions in teams to win prizes!

This year was the 1st annual Jr. Fair Dance! We had a DJ and drinks to help exhibitors celebrate a successful week of fair!
