Madison County EMA and the Health Department are working on a project to have volunteers make homemade face coverings to disperse to community members who are not able to afford or make their own.
There is some guidance on how to make cloth face coverings on CDC’s website. This is the information shared from the health department. It includes sew and no sew instructions that you can use to make masks: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html
Contact Debby Sims, EMA Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 740-852-4200 to coordinate drop offs. Once they have a decent supply the Madison County EMA will serve as a distribution point where one can receive 1-2 face coverings per household member.
