Hello! Wow, its 2024, I hope everyone is as ready to kickoff their 4-H club season as we are!
As we begin our new year, we have important information to share:
- 4-HOnline Enrollment: Enrollment for the new year is open! All new and returning volunteers and members must enroll by March 15th! To enroll, please visit: https://oh.4honline.com Returning families: do not create a new profile, use your current 4-Honline email to log-in, if you need help with this information – please contact our office. 4-Honline information, specifically e-mail, is how we share our information – so please make sure your email is up to date. Volunteers who are completing their BCI rescreening, it is very important you complete your yearly 4-Honline enrollment when you submit your BCI check so Ohio 4-H and OSU HR can connect it to your account. Failure to do so in a timely manner, results in more misplaced BCI screenings.
- Annual Volunteer Training: Late last week, an e-mail was sent inviting you to our in-person Volunteer Annual Meeting. This Annual Meeting will be our only in-person option for volunteers to catch up over breakfast, learn all the new and important information for the year, and see our Lawrence County Teen Leaders in action! Come ready to receive your Club Packets with your roster templates, constitution & by-laws, & financial requirements; along with yearly Quality Assurance Assistant Instructor Training and livestock updates, Protecting Our Minors Annual Training, and some great resources to use in your club meetings – join us on February 3rd at 10:00am at the Open Door School in Coal Grove! Please register at: https://go.osu.edu/lawcovolunteertraining by February 1 to help us with a food count!
- Reminder! Every volunteer must complete yearly training… if you can’t make it on the 3rd please join us on February 22nd, via Zoom at either 5:00pm or 7:00pm. Choosing this option, you must register to receive your zoom link:
- Quality Assurance Assistant Instructor Training will ONLY be offered at the Volunteer Training on February 3rd and is required yearly!
- Please note, the originally planned February 15th online option has been cancelled, as I am going to be attending an Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports Training!
- Going to miss the in-person and live virtual zoom session options? A recorded version along with other requirements will be released after February 22nd! Deadline to complete Volunteer Training is March 15.
- Volunteer Rescreening’s are due February 15th. Each volunteer needing to be rescreened for the 2023-2024 4-H Year should have received an email and a mailed letter giving you notice in November! The instructions on how to complete the BCI rescreening process can be found here: BCI Instructions Page and Request 2021 Final2.pdf (osu.edu). We will be sending reminder emails in the next few days!
