Hello –

We have a unique opportunity to offer a FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid Training to our 4-H volunteers. Training will be offered by OSU Mental Health First Aid Instructors at the OSU Lawrence County Extension Office on Monday, February 20th, starting at 8:30am. This training does require you to complete a 2-hour, self-paced online course prior to the in-person training. The in-person training on the 20th, will be approximately 4 ½ hours long with lunch provided.

This training will count toward your yearly required volunteer training. But, we must have 10% of our volunteers registered (12-15 participants) to provide this opportunity.  So, we are asking you complete this interest survey by Tuesday, January 10th to determine if we will move forward with this educational event.
