Key Features:

  • Aerodynamic hood to cover the front of the Arduino
    • Shaped like a bullet train front for increased efficiency and speeds.
    • Covers the battery.
  • T-shaped body.
    • Allows for more even distribution of mass.
    • Propellers and motors run from center of mass, offering more balance and even thrust.
  • L-shaped arm.
    • Allows for Arduino to be placed underneath the extended part of the arm, saving space.
  • Propellers and motor are undermounted.
    • Allows for more above-platform room for the Arduino and battery.
  • Estimated weight: 3.5 – 4.0 lbs

Pros: The design is more stable than the sample as the motors are brought to the center as well as the arm

Cons: This design is less aerodynamic than the sample as it has two “wings” sticking out of the center
