Initial Design by Steve Alexopoulos
Key Features:
- Propellers are placed at the rear of the design and are placed above one another
- One propeller is placed underneath the other
- This will design will keep the width of the vehicle small, so that it is more aerydynamic
- The long, rectangular shaped body will provide sufficient room for the arduino board
- The battery, on the other hand, will be attached to the underside of the base
- L-shaped design will be used for mounting the wheels
- It will centered in the middle of the base, to counteract the weight of the motors in back and arduino in the front.
- Estimated weight: 3.5 – 4.0 lbs.
Pros: The design could be more easily altered or fixed compared to the sample
Cons: This design appeared to be less efficient and less aerodynamic than the sample design
