There are several ways to visit us at
352 West Dodridge Street, Columbus, OH 43202:
- CAR
- Use the interactive map located above to plan your trip or type our address (above) into your GPS for directions to the park from your exact location. There are limited free parking spaces available South of the Heffner Wetland and Education Building. After pulling back into the park, follow the drive and turn right at the first paved location to enter the parking area. When parking, please avoid any reserved spaces.
- COTA
- Use COTA’s trip planner to find the best bus route based on your current location. Ohio State students can use your BuckID for the trip!
- Walk from Kottman Hall (OSU West campus)
- Head North on Coffey Road toward Woody Hayes Drive (0.1 mi.), turn left onto Woody Hayes Drive (0.1 mi.), turn right onto Fyffe Road (0.1 mi.), turn right onto West Lane Avenue (0.2 mi.), turn left onto Olentangy River Road (0.7 mi.), turn right onto West Dodridge Street. The ORWRP will be on your left, marked by a large Ohio State branded sign. You will follow the driveway back into the park.
- Take the Olentangy Greenway Trail (Walk, Bike, Roll, Skateboard, Rollerskate, Run, etc.)

- From the South: The entrance to the ORWRP will be on your left, shortly after crossing the footbridge over the Olentangy River (just after passing beneath the Dodridge Street bridge). The park entrance is marked with a green sign that says “Grounds Open to Public”. Follow this trail towards the Heffner Wetlands Research and Education building. There is bike parking available to the south of the building, and there is a site map, picnic bench, and trash receptacle near the bike racks.
- From the North: The entrance to the ORWRP will be on your right, shortly after you cross over the Olentangy River. You will come upon a fenced in area and will want to take the paved bath to the right, before the fencing begins. You will follow this path to the building, keeping to the right, until you see the picnic bench and trash can. There you will find a site map.
